The Apache HTTP Server Project is an effort to develop and maintain an open-source HTTP server for modern operating systems including UNIX and Windows NT. The goal of this project is to provide a secure, efficient and extensible server that provides HTTP services in sync with the current HTTP standards.  Apache has been the most popular web server on the Internet since April 1996. National Cristina Foundation is proud to be the Dell US and Dell Canada donation channel.  Through Dell Recycling, your old PC can help make a difference in somone's life. This relationship provides computer technology to people with disabilities, students at risk and economically disadvantaged persons. Combined with training, this program enables them to lead more productive lives.

Floatbox

Floatbox is a javascript library for displaying windowed content over the top of web pages. It is an amazing software library by Byron McGregor who has very graciously donated the Cristina Foundation a license. We use Floatbox extensively in web-application development, especially within the new CristinaNetwork.org portal and our donation system.

The McMahan Center - Abilities Activists

The McMahan Center - Abilities Activists, whose chairman is D. Bruce McMahan and president is Yvette Marrin, provides funding to programs that help redefine what people with differing abilities are able to achieve.  The National Cristina Foundation has been awarded a three year development grant by the McMahan Center to create the Cristina Global Partner Network.  This network of non-profits and public agencies will assist local communities to engage in the National Cristina Foundation process in support of abilities development.

The Yahoo! User Interface (YUI) Library is a set of utilities and controls, written in JavaScript, for building richly interactive web applications using techniques such as DOM scripting, DHTML and AJAX.  The National Cristina Foundation uses several YUI components in the development of our Donation Tracking and Placement (dTap) system.  A big thanks to all the developers at Yahoo! for making such a great library of very effective tools.
